LVIA in need of new revenue sources despite rise in passenger traffic

Although passenger traffic has been on the rise for the past six months at the Lehigh Valley International Airport , members of the board of governors of the Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority Tuesday brainstormed ways to raise airport revenues at their monthly meeting. Regional airports such as LVIA have found it hard in recent years to compete with lower airfare rates such as those offered by larger metropolitan airports such as Philadelphia or Newark, New Jersey.
