Newark felon charged in Harrison burglary bid

A Newark man with a long criminal history tried to break into a Harrison home on Friday and was arrested, according to a criminal complaint. Bail was set at $50,000 cash or bond for 59-year-old Mark S. Banks when he appeared in Central Judicial Processing court via video link from Hudson County jail in Kearny.
