A Newark man was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison on Tuesday for his role in a Little Falls carjacking in which a couple was robbed at the point of a shotgun. As "a career offender," Hanzah Darby, 26, had faced a minimum term of nearly 22 years in prison, U.S. District Judge Susan D. Wigenton said during a hearing in Newark.
