According to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Newark Police Director Eugene Venable, Newark police received a call about a sick or injured person inside a home on the 400 block of South 16th Street around 4:41 p.m. Inside, they found 46-year-old Mark C. Holley unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter, Murray and Venable said.
