Alleged shoplifter picked up from jail by Madison Police

MADISON - Two police officers took a ride to the Essex County Correctional Facility to pick up a Newark resident with an active warrant from Madison on Feb. 2. Anthony McBryde 50, who had been identified in connection with a shoplifting incident at the Stop & Shop supermarket in October 2014, was taken into custody on the warrant that had been issued for that incident.
