An Essex County man was sentenced today to 121 months in prison for carjacking and robbing a Union County man at gunpoint. On Dec. 26, 2012, Larry Brown, 24, of Newark approached an individual in a parked BMW X5 in Hillside, tapped on the window with a gun and ordered the victim to get out of the car, U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman stated.
