He bobbed his head and tapped out the beats with his finger while his beloved WBGO played to the very end Cephas Bowles , the president and CEO of Newark's WBGO Jazz 88.3, has died. Bowles passed away Saturday at Hackensack University Medical Center following complications from a stem cell transplant, said his wife, Linda Arrington-Bowles.
