Little Falls Detectives arrest two women in car purchase scam

Two women were arrested for falsely purchasing a car from a township resident this past December and selling it to a Newark resident. Damika Thompson, 38, of East Orange, and Azia Liggins, 25, of Newark were arrested by Little Falls Police and charged with theft by deception, forgery and issuing a bad check in the scam, which involved a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro.
