NEWARK - A former juror was indicted today on perjury charges for allegedly lying last fall during the trial of a man who was later convicted in the murder of his 20-month-old daughter, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray announced. Wacoa M. Stanford, 44, of Newark, is accused of lying during jury selection and then lying to the judge at the trial of Travis Hartsfield Jr., according to a news release from the prosecutor's office.
