The Urban league of Essex County is gearing up for its second annual "Making An Impact" awards dinner on Thursday to honor individuals and companies who promote the agency's mission of social and economic self-sufficiency. "Our 2015 honorees embody that mission, and their extraordinary contributions have positively impacted the citizens and communities of Newark and Essex County today, tomorrow and for generations to come,'' said Vivian Cox Fraser, president and chief executive officer of the Urban League.
