Children With Challenges Now Have More Places To Play Soccer

In partnership with the Just One Soccer League, NJ Youth Soccer held a TOPSoccer training program and player jamboree event for coaches, buddies and children at the Waterfront Gymnasium in Newark on Sunday, December 14. In total, more than 20 volunteers gathered in the morning to learn how to run a NJ Youth Soccer TOPSoccer program in their own organizations and more than 20 youth participants from West Orange, Elizabeth and Newark. TOPSoccer provides a curriculum to train coaches and volunteers to provide fun and engaging soccer activities for young athletes with mental or physical disabilities.
