Sister of former Essex prosecutor Minor killed in Newark hit-and-run

NEWARK - The sister of a former Essex County prosecutor was killed in an apparent hit-and-run Thursday afternoon, a prosecutor's office spokesman said. City resident Barbara Minor, 70, was struck around 4 p.m. near Sanford and South Orange avenues, Chief of Detectives Anthony Ambrose said late Thursday night.
