Newark reaches $225,000 settlement with Watershed trustees

NEWARK - After months of legal wrangling Newark has agreed to pay the Watershed Conservation and Development Corp.'s provisional trustees $225,000 for the costs associated with the dissolution of the embattled agency. "From our perspective we are satisfied," said Renee Steinhagen, the lawyer who represented the community groups who first brought the agency to court.
