Newark officials celebrate new affordable housing project

Newark officials marked on Tuesday the completion of the first phase of the $7.6 million project, located at 189 Chadwick Avenue n the city's South Ward. Twenty-two of 42 renovated apartments have been completed and will soon be ready for families, according to the Newark Housing Authority, which rehabilitated the building.
