Sterling Gibbs had to leave Seton Hall for his 'state of mind,' according to report

Seton Hall guard Sterling Gibbs reacts to a 3-point basket by teammate Haralds Karlis during the first half of an NCAA college basketball game against Providence, Wednesday, March 4, 2015, in Newark, N.J. Hours after it was reported that junior guard Sterling Gibbs was transferring from Seton Hall , Pirates coach Kevin Willard released a statement on Tuesday, wishing Gibbs luck as he pursued his Master's degree "at another university." Willard appeared to be trying to spin the departure -- the second defection of a starting player in three months -- as an academic pursuit.
