NEWARK - Barnabas Health President and CEO Barry Ostrowsky mainly spoke at an event on Tuesday about the need to transform the healthcare industry to better address the needs of Newark residents. But for a few minutes, the discussion turned to another ongoing healthcare issue facing the city - proposed changes at Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark - and Ostrowsky assured a Saint Michael's patient there was no "done deal" in the matter.
