NEWARK - The victim of a fatal shooting in the city's North Ward has been identified as a 32-year-old Newark man. Anthony Mayse was gunned down in the Stephen Crane Village housing complex off of North 6th Street around 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to Essex County Prosecutor's Office Chief of Detectives Anthony Ambrose.
