NEWARK - The day after an off-duty Newark police officer was killed in a drive-by shooting in May 2011, Marlena Gordon said she identified Rasul McNeil-Thomas as one of the men who stole the car used in the slaying. But Gordon said she made that identification after first being unable to select McNeil-Thomas from among the photos of potential suspects.
