Woman paralyzed in Newark bar shooting: 'It's like a nightmare for me'

NEWARK - The question hung in the air as Carmina Cruz remembered the night of Oct. 15, 2011, when she visited a Newark bar to celebrate her birthday. "You were able to walk before that night?" Essex County Assistant Prosecutor Jennifer Fetterman asked Cruz today in a Newark courtroom.
