Google Inc. and Viacom Inc. won dismissal of a lawsuit claiming that they illegally tracked the Internet browsing habits of children to enhance online advertising. U.S. District Judge Stanley Chesler dismissed the lawsuit in federal court in Newark, New Jersey , which claimed Viacom tracked users under age 13 who registered with its nick.com website.
