Newark library Celebrates MLK ":Injustice Anywhere is a Threat to Justice Everywhere"

On Saturday, January 24th, the Newark Public Library, in collaboration with the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice and the Newark Community LGBTQ Center, will honor the memory of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with the program "Injustice Anywhere is a Threat to Justice Everywhere," produced by Celeste Bateman & Associates, LLC. The presentation which will begin at 2:00 pm in Centennial Hall at the Main Library features a performance by the award-winning Special Ensemble, a premier musical youth performance group. There will also be poetry with Jaleesa McEachin, actress/motivational speaker and poet.
