Hillary Supporters Float Racially Diverse Running Mates

Although Hillary Clinton has not yet declared herself a candidate for president, her supporters are already floating a racially diverse slate of possible running mates - a move that could ease criticism on the left that her potential Democratic campaign staff is too white and male. Possible vice presidential candidates include: Sen. Cory Booker, the black former mayor of Newark, N.J.; Julian Castro, the Hispanic secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development; and Kamala Harris, the attorney general of California whose father is black and mother is an Indian immigrant, Politico reported Monday.
