NEWARK, N.J. Google and Viacom dodged a potential class-action lawsuit last week when a federal judge dismissed the case that said they had violated children's privacy. Parents of several children under age 13 had alleged that Viacom allowed Google to set tracking cookies on Nick.com cookies that allegedly revealed users' screen names and the videos they watched, among other information.
