Essex towns: You can travel, but you probably shouldn't yet

NEWARK - Leaders in Essex County echoed a safety message sent out by state authorities Tuesday morning - even though the Garden State didn't get as much snow as anticipated, residents should stay off the roads today whenever possible. Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and the City of Newark sent out messages via their Twitter and Facebook accounts, asking residents to stay home while crews continue to clear the roadways.
