NEWARK - Gov. Chris Christie is urging New Jersey residents to "get off the roads as soon as you can" once snow starts hitting the state today as New Jersey braces for a "significant storm." The governor, speaking to reporters inside the garage of a state Department of Transportation facility in Newark, announced he's declaring a state of emergency today and warned New Jersey residents to be prepared "for potential power outages."
