NEWARK - A New York man was sentenced today to 15 years in state prison for violently sexually assaulting a 3-year-old boy he was babysitting in Newark, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray announced today. Rene Delgado, 33, of Jamaica, Queens, had pleaded guilty on July 18 to first-degree aggravated sexual assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, according to a press release from the prosecutor's office.
