Fans dressed a day early for Hallowe'en watch the Devils game against Winnipeg Thursday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. They had to wait until late in the third period to celebrate a goal and then erupted in the shootout when Jacob Josefson fired the winning goal. ) It took a while but the hometown Devils managed to grab enough tricks from their arsenal and were rewarded with enough treats, namely goals, to earn their fifth win of the season, a 2-1 shootout verdict over Winnipeg.
