N.J. Ebola response plan includes 'assistance' for out-of-work quarantined people, housing for non-N.J. residents

TRENTON - The state's strategy to screen travelers for Ebola as they arrive at Newark Liberty International Airport includes providing "assistance" for quarantined people who don't get paid while missing work, and a plan to find housing to quarantine non-New Jersey residents who are not showing any symptoms. "As permitted by law, the State will provide assistance to quarantined individuals if they are being denied compensation for lost time at work," according to the memo obtained by NJ Advance Media.
