NEWARK - About six months after his first trial ended in a mistrial, Raymond Perry appeared today before another jury for the start of his second trial on charges of fatally shooting a Verona gas station attendant in 2009. But as the attorneys delivered their opening statements, the focus was largely on Perry's co-defendant, David Fate.
