New Jersey ranks fourth in hospital safety, latest report card says

University Hospital in Newark earned a C in the latest hospital safety report card released by the Leapfrog Group today. New Jersey has the fourth-safest hospitals in the nation - the highest ranking the state has achieved in measuring how well patients are protected from mistakes, infections and injuries since the surveys began in 2012.
