Three out of the six major road projects being paid for in whole or in part by the state's Transportation Trust Fund run through Hudson County, The Star-Ledger reports. Even as the fund skirts running on empty, millions will be shelled out to build a new Wittpenn Bridge, which links Jersey City and Kearny; shore up the Route 1&9 Pulaski Skyway, which touches down in Jersey City, Kearny, and Newark; and expand to 13 lanes the Turnpike Interchange 14A in Bayonne.
