Paul Thompson, added to the AHL All-Star Classic earlier in the day, took over the league's goal-scoring lead, netting a pair tonight as the Albany Devils defeated the Bridgeport Tigers 5-3 in front of 3,128 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., home of the parent New Jersey Devils. Thompson had one of three power-play goals for the Devils, who have scored eight man-advantage goals in the past three games.
