Did Essex sheriff's officer threaten to kill woman? Case goes to jury

Closing arguments were given today in the trial of an Essex County Sheriff's officer accused of threatening a woman inside his truck before she jumped from the moving vehicle. John Warnock, 39, of Newark is charged with official misconduct, criminal restraint, criminal coercion, and terroristic threats stemming from an incident in 2012 in which he allegedly threatened to kill a woman he picked up at nightclub in West Orange.
