NEWARK - In the small, close-knit neighborhood around Goldsmith Avenue in Newark's South Ward, Talia Capri Nesmith was rarely seen without a child by her side. The 34-year-old, who was stabbed to death in her home Wednesday morning, babysat dozens of her young cousins and neighbors, and was overjoyed after giving birth to her own daughter, Kourtney Monae, last year.
