Essex County College will host its 3rd annual Manufacturing Career Day for current and prospective students on Wednesday, October 1. The Career Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the First Floor Atrium of the Center for Technology, on the main Newark campus. Essex has joined with various manufacturers, associations and educational institutions from around the state in holding events leading up to National Manufacturing Day, on Friday, October 3. National Manufacturing Day was established in 2012 to expand the knowledge about and improve the public's perception of manufacturing careers and the industry's value to the nation's economy.
