NEWARK - A state trooper suffered a head injury this morning when his patrol car was struck by a person driving a stolen vehicle, according to a report on the website of WABC-7 . State Police are searching for the suspect near the Newark-East Orange border after the vehicle was found abandoned at Ninth Avenue and South 11th Street, the report said.
