Bergen County man charged in alleged scheme to sell firearms in N.J. smuggled out of Iraq

A Bergen County man was one of two defendants indicted Friday on federal weapons charges in an alleged scheme to sell seven firearms in New Jersey believed to have been stolen and smuggled out of Iraq after once belonging to the family of Saddam Hussein, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced. A federal grand jury in Newark returned the indictment against Carlos Quirola-Ordonez, 57, of New Milford, and David Phillip Ryan, 50, of Miami, Fla.
