Operation Joint Effort Results in More than 30 Arrests in Orange, Newark and Throughout the State

Newark Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray, Acting Attorney General John Hoffman and other law enforcement officials, representing a total of 26 agencies, announced today the arrests of more than 30 individuals who were part of a drug operation selling approximately $1 million in narcotics over the course of a three-month investigation. "By working together, we believe we have brought down an operation that fueled the state's growing heroin epidemic,'' said Acting Essex County Prosecutor Murray.
