NEWARK - Mayor Ras Baraka today said he was "deeply disappointed" in a Missouri grand jury's failure to indict the officer who shot and killed Michael Brown, but called on the community to voice its anger peacefully. Speaking at a press conference outside the Peter W. Rodino Jr. Federal Building, Baraka joined the NAACP, National Action Network and other city officials in calling for the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate possible civil rights violations by Ferguson, Mo.
