East Newark man arrested after Belleville police opened fire prior to a chase

Carlos Narang, 39, of East Newark, was arrested yesterday after an incident in which police fire shots in Belleville during a narcotics investigation prior to a vehicle pursuit through Kearny and into Harrison that ended with a crash, officials said.
