100 attend Newark gathering calling for more oversight of police

NEWARK - Defiant but peaceful, about 100 people gathered on the steps of Newark City Hall tonight to call for renewed oversight of police procedures, both in the city and the nation, following the shooting death last week of an unarmed black teenager by an officer in a St. Louis suburb.
