Teen cheerleader slain in Newark shooting had plans to study nursing in college
NEWARK - Cheyanne Bond left her Irvington home around 6 p.m. Sunday. The 17-year-old, who had just graduated from Malcolm X. Shabazz High School days before, said she was going to visit with her cousin.
