Belleville girls basketball: Bucs start season 2-1

The Belleville girls' basketball team split two games at the Glen Ridge Holiday Tournament last week and will take a 2-1 record into its next game, at Science Park of Newark, on Jan. 4, starting at 1 p.m. Liz Ramirez's team opened the season on Dec. 20 by defeating Barringer, 53-35.
