Linden police seek help identifying man who tried to rob off-duty Newark cop

A man who tried to rob an off-duty Newark cop outside the Linden High School Academy of Arts and Sciences on Tuesday afternoon was caught on surveillance camera fleeing after the cop pulled his own gun, authorities say.
