After the Archdiocese of Newark gave up on its legendary St. Patrick's High School, one of New Jersey's oldest parochial schools, founded in 1868, faculty and parents opened a new non-denominational educational academy in a building that once housed Social Security Administration offices at 547 Morris Avenue.
