NEWARK - A Newark man was convicted today of stomping another city man to death in broad daylight in January 2013, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray announced. Dwayne Johnson, 43, was found guilty of first-degree murder in the beating death of Terrence Everett, 38, according to a news release from the prosecutor's office.
