Jersey City man who survived 40-foot jump in Newark killed girlfriend: authorities

The man who broke both of his legs when he jumped off an elevated highway in Newark last month after fleeing the scene of a domestic violence incident in Jersey City has been formally charged with the murder of his girlfriend, authorities said.
