Russo was one of JFK's young, idealistic admirers. He has never stopped thinking about Kennedy.

I was at my Barringer High School social studies class in Newark, just turned 16 the month before on Oct. 27. My mom was waiting to console me, knowing my whole focus was on the president and his government being successful as I studied U.S. history and civics.
